CreditKiya mobile application or website (https://creditkiya.com/).
By using CreditKiya, you agree to the practices outlined

provide our services effectively:
Personal
Data
- Account Information: During
registration, we collect your name, email address,
and mobile number to create and manage your
account.
- Biller Details: To fetch bills
(e.g., electricity, mobile, or DTH), you may provide
details like consumer IDs or account numbers. These
are used solely for transaction processing via
Bharat Connect and are not retained
post-transaction.
Non-Personal
Data
- Payment Records: We store
transaction details (e.g., biller, amount, date,
status) to maintain your payment history within the
app. Payment processing data (e.g., UPI transaction
IDs) is handled by third-party UPI apps and not
stored by us.
- Device Data: Anonymized information
(e.g., device model, OS version) may be collected to
enhance app performance and troubleshoot
issues.
Note: We do
not collect or store sensitive payment information, such
as bank account details or UPI PINs.
Your data enables us to
deliver a secure and efficient experience. We use it

- Account Management: Set up and
maintain your account, authenticate logins, and
manage your profile.
- Payment Processing: Fetch bills via
Bharat Connect, initiate payments, process refunds
(if needed), and display transaction records.

Indian regulations, including tax obligations, fraud

trusted partners to facilitate services:
- Bharat Connect: Operated by the
National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI),
Bharat Connect receives biller-specific details to
retrieve bills and process payments. Their privacy
policy (available at bharatbillpay.com)
governs their data handling.
- PhonePe (Payment Aggregator):
PhonePe processes UPI payments when you use apps
like Google Pay, PhonePe, or Paytm. Your payment
information is sent directly to these apps, and we
do not access or retain it. Their respective privacy
policies apply.
- Regulatory Bodies: We may disclose
transaction data to NPCI, PSP banks, the Reserve
Bank of India (RBI), or law enforcement agencies if
required by law. All data is stored in India per
regulatory mandates.
No Marketing:
We do not share your data with advertisers or third
parties for marketing purposes.
- Storage: Your data (e.g., account
details, transaction history) is securely stored on
Vultr cloud servers in Mumbai, India, in compliance
with Indian data protection laws.
- Security Measures: We use
industry-standard encryption (e.g., SSL/TLS) and
secure APIs to protect data during transmission and
storage. Access is restricted to authorized
personnel only.
- Data Retention: Account information
(name, email, mobile number) is deleted immediately
upon your request via the app’s account deletion
feature. Transaction records may be retained for
legal compliance (e.g., tax or audit purposes) and
are stored securely in India.
You have full control over
your information:
- Account Deletion: Delete your
account directly in the app, which instantly removes
your registration data from our servers. Note that
transaction data may be retained for legal
compliance.
- Data Requests: Contact us for
additional data access or deletion requests.
CreditKiya integrates with the
following services:
- Bharat Connect: For bill retrieval
and payment processing, subject to NPCI’s privacy
policy.
- PhonePe and UPI Apps: For secure
payment completion, governed by the privacy policies
of PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, or other UPI apps. We
are not responsible for the data practices of these
third-party services.
A “cookie” is a small piece of
information stored by a web server on a web browser to
enhance user experience. We use cookies to:
- Help remember and process transactions through the
CreditKiya platform.
- Understand and save user preferences for future
visits.
- Compile aggregate data about site traffic and

CreditKiya is designed for
users in India with no age restrictions, as it leverages
Bharat Connect services available to all eligible users.
However, users under 18 should use the app under
parental guidance due to its financial nature. We do not
